Competition for journalists and bloggers in the field of culture
The competition has existed since 2015, it was created on the initiative of the Yekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts. The founders of the competition were the State Hermitage Museum, the Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation and the Yekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts. The purpose of the competition is to support, develop, and increase the prestige of cultural journalism in the regions of Russia. The competition’s goal is to draw public attention to the importance of media activities for the development of culture and cultural institutions, as well as to strengthen the role of museums in the life of communities.

Journalists and bloggers from the cities of the Far Eastern, Urals, Siberian and Volga Federal Districts are invited to participate in open competitions that will be held in 2023 and 2024. The winners will take part in professional trainings at the Hermitage Centers in Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Kazan and Omsk. The trainings will introduce the best practices of cultural journalism and involve active interaction with representatives of museums and cultural institutions. Following the results of each training, the best authors will be invited to a special program within the framework of the Hermitage Days in St. Petersburg.
