On March 1, 2021, the project "NE ZRYA: an inclusive museum laboratory for the blind and visually impaired" was launched by the PRO ARTE Foundation, in cooperation with the Russian Ethnographic Museum.
In the project, the blind actors will work together with the sighted professional actors and directors. For several months, a team led by directors Boris Pavlovich and Dmitry Krestyankin will meet with museum staff, learn stories related to its collection, and tell their own, in order to present the audience with an inclusive tour in November.
On March 4, the first meeting of the project participants took place in the museum. We began our exploration of the museum space from the famous Marble Hall.
The project is being implemented with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund.
