Lera Lerner will speak about social and poetic art, and its representation through performance, installation and research. She will share her multidisciplinary practice that engages scholars, young artists, museum staff, and people passing by with the means of artistic co-experience. Lera Lerner will discuss the emergence of spontaneous communication in public spaces and its ethics, as well as the options of collaboration between St Peterburg-based institutions and artists who work with socially engaged practice and public art.

Lera Lerner ― is an artist, curator, art mediator, and founder of the Imaginary Museum of Displaced Persons. Explores social and poetic art. Participant of the Manifesta 10 (St Petersburg, 2014); 4th and 5th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art (2014, 2016); Art Prospect Festival (2015, 2016, 2018); International Baltic Biennale of Contemporary Art (2016, 2018); 4th Ural Industrial Biennale of Contemporary Art (2017); 14th and 15th Contemporary Art in a Traditional Museum Festival (2017, 2019). Nominee of the Innovation Prize and Sergey Kuryokhin Prize.
