Online, PRO ARTE Foundation

The course is available only for participants of the School for Young Artists program

At Alina Belishkina's intensive course, artists — participants of the School for Young Artists program — will work on their artist statements, discuss the difference between the statement and a project annotation, read artist statements of prominent contemporary artists, review each other's art practice, analyze, write and rewrite.

Alina Belishkina is a teacher, curator and artist. She graduated from CuMMA (Curating, Managing and Mediating Arts) program at Aalto University in Finland and the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences at St Petersburg State University in Russia. Since 2011, she has been teaching contemporary art theory and practice at different art institutions in St Petersburg and Moscow. Belishkina curated and participated in a wide range of international and Russian exhibitions and programs including 57th Venice Biennale Research Pavilion, BBX Crit Sessions, and documenta studies. At the moment she participates in the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art’s residence program studying art mediation and institutional psychotherapy issues.
