TABLETISM

The Photo project consists of a series of compositions made of tablets and pills used to cure certain diseases. Captions correspond with Latin names for active ingredients of the pills shown in the photos. The artist shoots her still-lives using studio lighting and super close-up technique. Language of the Russian avant-garde helps her to strip the objects of their every-day meaning.
