JUKEBOX

JUKEBOX – is an automated music-playing device made of outdated computer. All the lids have been removed, so visitors can see the insides of the device. Power units, memory disks, magnetic heads used for data-recording and playback all spin in time with music score. The jukebox’ repertoire includes excerpts from Rimsky-Korsakov’s masterpieces as well as from works of his favorite composers, played in his flat in Zagorodny Prospekt during his lifetime.
