Architecture

The Contemporary Architecture program was launched in 2004. It is focused on the trends in contemporary architecture, the history of architecture of the 20th century and the problems of conservation of architectural heritage.
Since 2000 the programme has organised over 100 events featuring leading Russian and foreign architects, such as Yuriy Zemtsov, Nikita Yavein, Evgeniy Gerasimov, Yuriy Mityurev—all from St Petersburg, Alexander Skokan, Evgeniy Ass, Andrey Bokov, Mikhail Khazanov—all from Moscow. The education programme included lectures and presentations of Russian and foreign architects as well as films on contemporary architecture: Sergey Skuratov, Sergey Choban (Germany—Russia), Dominique Perrault, Odile Decq (France), Jan Gehl (Denmark), Ole Gustavsen (Norway), Jose Asebillo (Spain), Stefan Behnisch (Germany), Arata Isozaki (Japan), Gary Chang (China), and others.
