The Museum Guide Forum is a special program of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation at the annual Intermuseum International Museum Festival that takes place in Moscow. The main theme of Intermuseum festival (May 30 - June 2, 2019), was “Dialogue of Professionals”. This year the discussion program of the Museum Guide Forum was produced by the PRO ARTE Foundation. Each of the four days of the Museum Guide Forum 2019 focused on different forms of partnership and expert dialogue inside and outside the museum. The Forum hosted around 20 business events within the four theme blocs: “Culture of Happiness”- a dialogue about the museum and society in the mod¬ern global world; “In the Midst of Locality” - a dialogue about partnerships at the level of regions and local communities; “Between Us” - a cross-sectoral dialogue between museums and organizations of culture, education, and health; “Private Matter” – a dialogue about significance of person¬ality and leadership qualities. Altogether, over 80 museum professionals from 8 countries took part in the Museum Guide Forum 2019, among them: Zelphira Tregulova, director of the State Tretyakov Gallery, Elizaveta Fokina, director of “Tsaritsyno” Museum-Reserve, Svetlana Sivkova, director of the Museum of the World Ocean, Kaliningrad, Kai Kartio, director of Amos Rex Museum, Finland, Lidewij de Koekkoek, director of the Rembrandt House Museum, the Netherlands, and many others.
