Jeffrey L. Daly has wide ranging experience working as an exhibit designer, museum consultant and designer of new museum galleries. He was the Chief of Design and special advisor to the director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 30 years (1979–2009). As a Metropolitan Museum of Art exhibit designer he worked on hundreds of major exhibits. He was also in charge of the renovation and installation design of the American Wing, the Greek and Roman galleries, the new Impressionist paintings galleries, the 20th century galleries and the design of the Southeast Asian and Chinese galleries among others.
Jeffrey Daly founded his own museum and exhibit design firm in 2009 and has been working with numerous museums around the world to create new galleries, special exhibits and to advise on complete museum renovations. Jeff Daly Design. Museum and Design Consulting has implemented projects in the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh (USA), Musee de la Mode et du Textile in Paris (France), National Art Museums of Romania, Miho Museum of Art (Japan), Museum of Islamic Art in Qatar and many others.
