SCHOOL FOR YOUNG ARTISTS
“School for Young Artists” is an educational program designed for young artists, students of art universities and colleges and creative young people dealing with contemporary art. The program aims to develop young artists’ creative potential and critical thinking, establish a playground for their professional communication and support their new art projects. Since 2000 more than 100 young artists from different Russian cities took part in the program. Works of students and alumni of the program were displayed at the largest exhibitions of contemporary art in Russia and abroad: at the main project of Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, the Ural Industrial Biennale of Contemporary Art in Yekaterinburg, Armory Show in New York, the parallel program of the Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art and others. The program participants became nominees and laureates of the “Innovation” Prize and Kandinsky Prize.
